義大利車界一王四后的介紹, 今日進入重頭戲 --- 王者, Colnago

Colnago 由 Ernesto Colnago 創立於 1954年, Ernesto Colnago 早期也是一個自行車手, 因為意外而結束選手生涯, 同時他也發現自己對公路車創新的濃厚興趣. 從1960年代開始, Colnago 就被視為是世界上最好的競速車廠商之一; 1973年 Michele Dancelli 贏得 Milan-San Remo 後, Colnago 受到啓發而將 logo 改成現在的梅花(Club).

Colnago 最著名的創新之舉是: 與法拉利公司以及米蘭理工大學合作, 製作出碳纖車架的前身. 因而開啓了自行車的另一個時代.

今天, 每日一美車介紹的 C59 Disc 也是 Colnago的另一個重要的創新噢!

C59 Disc 是第一個企圖將液壓碟煞應用在競速車上的設計,
Ernesto Colnago 對此非常有信心：

"We were the first to believe in carbon fibre frames and now we're the first to really believe in disc on high-end road bikes." 

過去, 我們是第一家相信碳纖維的公司; 而現在, 我們是第一家相信碟煞可以應用在頂級競速車的公司.

"I want to point out that our brakes are hydraulic and so offer excellent stopping in any kind of conditions. Everyone has copied us and I'm sure they will do it again, but we'll continue to lead the way by combining innovation and tradition."
